Summary

The Electrical Tester is a hands-on position, performing required product testing for cables. The Electrical Tester works closely with the Quality and Production teams to identify and resolve problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing on cables for VSWR, Insertion Loss, Phase, Time Delay and Capacitance
• Perform standard Network Analyzer Calibration, when required
• Perform In-Process and Final Testing
• Trouble-shoot production hardware electrical problems
• Create Test Data sheets
• Manage and report Test Data
• Help assemble harnesses, when required, to support production

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in wire/cable harness manufacturing
• Experience in electro-mechanical testing and manufacturing, preferred.
• Familiarity with network analyzers, strongly preferred.
• Be able to lift 15 pounds
• Be on your feet for much of your standard operating shift
• Strong computer skills
• Strong attention to details
• Excellent math skills
