Summary

The Junior Production Planner is primarily responsible for planning according to demand. Jr. Planner will help by scheduling and monitoring to ensure the company meets all deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Creates work orders for Production Assembly for the min/max program.
• Works with the Production Planners to communicate with other sites regarding materials requests.
• Reviews open work orders in process to ensure materials are consumed properly.
• Reviews supply and demand to make decisions about production scheduling.
• Reviews past dues and updates completion dates based on ETA of materials.
• Organizes shipment and logs in the Master Schedule.
• Released JSF work orders to the Marker Band and production teams.
• Generates packing slips for the Shipping Department.
• Engage with Supervisor to support with order expedites, clearing backlog and portal shipment.
• Assists the Production Planners to performs required transactions in Oracle.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Requirements

• HS degree required. Associate degree preferred.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel
• High sense of urgency and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with little supervision and driven to accomplish goals.
• Able to manage time and priorities.
• Ability to work in team environment.
