Qualified candidates for this position will have previous financial/accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, in addition to experience with Oracle ERP. The Cash Applications & Credit Specialist reports to the Controller.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Record daily cash transactions against applicable invoices and interact with major customers on daily payment advice
• Ensure all invoices are processed daily and customers receive regular statements
• Develop improved processes for reconciling customer advice; work with major OEMs on receipt of improved reporting to support cash application
• Support customer maintenance activities including electronic file development, credit lines and aged receivable reporting
• Support A/R team with credit activities to understand customers financial statements and credit worthiness

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting or related field
• 2-4 years’ experience within manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Oracle ERP environment and possess advanced database/spreadsheet skills
• Proven experience in process improvement with focus on improved data integrity & analytics
