Qualified candidates for this position will be the main Quality representative for the production staff. Duties will include writing/modifying test programs, product containment, layered process audits, and any other action that protects the integrity of our products and services. This position will work closely with machine operators, electrical testers, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, and shift supervisors. An ideal candidate for this position has experience in electrical testing, manufacturing equipment setup/maintenance, and is excited by the idea of identifying and solving problems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action projects
  • Diagnose failure modes using various methods of detection and analysis
  • Writes test procedures and evaluates the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications
  • Collect Test Data and generate recommendations for improvement
  • Ability to Analyze data for trends, causal factors and corrective action
  • Ability to provide First Pass Yield and Root Cause data
  • Communicate clearly with manufacturing and engineering about technical issues affecting Quality
  • Interact with technical management, other professionals, technicians and support personnel to coordinate, recommend and confer regarding technical activities and progress
  • Evaluate supplier components, subsystems, and services for compliance to customer specifications
  • Create new software programs for new products
  • Train new and existing employees to electrical testing procedures and best practices


  • Associate degree or equivalent experience - minimum 2 years
  • Experience in electro-mechanical testing and manufacturing (RF and/or microwave experience preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel (structure and manipulate excel spreadsheets with basic formulas)
  • Knowledge of network analyzers and spectrum analyzers
  • Familiarity with wire/cable harness manufacturing
  • Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus
  • Previous experience in Quality is a plus
