The Finance Manager will partner with Times Leadership to establish budgets, forecasts, manage variances, identify financial opportunities to improve cost and to perform financial analysis of strategic opportunities. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monthly Closing / Variances Analysis – lead month end close (Day 1/3 Flash and Day 5) and prepare financial statements
  • Strategic Planning / Budgeting and Forecast Process – end-to-end strategic planning/budgeting/forecasting cycles, timelines, analysis, and presentations
  • Cost Accounting – analyze COGS, PPV, J/E reclass, warranty reserves, scrap, absorptions and production variances.  Monitor inventory cycle count variability and identify resolution/risk mitigation if necessary
  • Compliance – Ensure relevant accounting procedures and controls are in place and all requirements for US GAAP are fulfilled
  • Productivity – partner with operations/purchasing on make vs. buy analysis, supplier transfers, etc.
  • Capital Expenditure - monitor the execution of capital expenditure authorization processes linked to distribution, warehouse operations and production capital needs
  • Special Projects - Digitize and automate financial reporting and analytics


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field of study, required.
  • MBA, preferred
  • 10 years' experience in cost accounting, FP&A roles, required.
  • 5 years' experience directly supporting a manufacturing operation, preferred.
  • 2 years' experience in personnel management, with a minimum of 2 direct reports, required.
  • 5 years' experience working directly in an ERP system, preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office, required.
