Summary

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate inventory counts.  This position will work closely with Operations to develop process improvements to achieve company inventory goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify inventory variances in ERP as compared to actual shop floor count
  • Process transactions to correct issues and ensure sub-inventory accuracy
  • Investigate root causes, and work with Operations team to develop new processes
  • Along with Planning, continue development of new inventory process in Cable production
  • Support implementation of MES system for North America operations
  • Partner with Internal Controls Manager to identify system level controls to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Ensure adherence to newly developed cycle count program
  • Assist with management of yearly physical inventory count
  • Identify opportunities for inventory reduction initiatives

 

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain, planning or inventory analyst role
  • Oracle ERP experience preferred
  • Understanding of MRP systems and processes
  • Thorough understanding of material movement processes
