Summary

The Test Operator is a hands-on position, performing required product testing for cables. The Test Operator works closely with the Quality and Production teams to identify and resolve problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing for VSWR, Insertion Loss, Phase, Time Delay and Capacitance

• Perform standard Network Analyzer Calibration, when required

• Perform In-Process and Final Testing

• Trouble-shoot production hardware electrical problems

• Create Test Data sheets

• Manage and report Test Data

• Helping assemble harnesses, when required to support production

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum 1-year experience in wire/cable harness manufacturing

• Experience in electro-mechanical testing and manufacturing, preferred.

• Familiarity with network analyzers, strongly preferred.

• Strong computer skills

• Strong attention to details

• Excellent math skills
