The Business Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's technical solutions to support business operations and enhance productivity.  This role oversees the operations technology teams.  The Business Operations Manager must create and recommend strategic plans, facilitate intracompany alignment on changes to systems and procedures, as well as improve processes effectively.     

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement solutions that improve existing systems.
  • Research, recommend and map future projects to improve operation performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize, plan, and implement change initiatives.
  • Establish metrics, expectations, and clear directions for operations technology team.
  • Analyze current inventory strategies and procedures; make improvements and increase efficiency.
  • Create plans for employees to gain necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform their duties.
  • Analyze operation execution, identify gaps in current procedures, and create solutions.
  • Understand how each step in the front end, pre-production, and manufacturing processes works together to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure products are delivered to customers on time.

Job Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of business systems and procedures and how to apply technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in management role or leading a department
  • Ability to remain flexible to meet constantly changing and sometimes opposing demands.
  • Ability to present information effectively.
  • Firm grasp of manufacturing and associated processes
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop personnel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
