Compensation

We offer a total compensation package that includes a competitive base rate, starting at $21.75, overtime after 8 hours, overtime after 40 hours and on Saturdays, and double time! We offer consistent schedules, and guaranteed hours! Overtime is available!!!!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform all required duties to set-up and operate all company screw extruder coating machines to preform type of core, inner or final jacket coating operation following written and oral engineering instructions.
  • Determine or select tip, die, melt and pre-heat temperatures, wire and feed screw speeds and other variables to meet requirements for job at hand.
  • Blend compound, make machine set-ups, supply feed and take-up reels, thread machines and operate as necessary to coat and print material.
  • Make all necessary operational compounds, take-up reels and other needs to maintain continuous operations.
  • Run specified lengths as directed to fill specific customer requirements.
  • Detect and report defective material, faulty operation and unusual conditions to proper supervision.  Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. 
  • Follow environmental, health and safety regulations.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Extruder/Machine Operator Experience preferred.
  • Experience with braiding and wire a plus.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
